Liana Fuente
Black Orchid & Co
Born and raised in Tampa, Liana is a member of the legendary Fuente cigar family. Her Cuban-born great-grandfather Arturo founded the company in Ybor City in 1912, and over the next 113 years her grandfather, Carlos Sr. and father, Carlos Jr. grew the Arturo Fuente name into a global brand. After attending Tampa Catholic High School, the University of South Florida, and Eckerd College, Liana spent over 15 years in the family business, rising to become its Vice President of Brand Development. In this role, she oversaw all the marketing initiatives for the company’s various business and charitable endeavors, including advertising, public relations, media relations, and special events. Recently, Liana stepped away from her day-to-day role with the company and shifted her focus to exciting new opportunities in the areas of real estate, business engagement, and community relations. Her latest project is the renovation of the oldest standing Arturo Fuente Cigar Factory, located in northern Ybor City, which is a meaningful location to honor her family’s rich legacy. In her spare time, Liana volunteers with various community organizations, such as Centro Asturiano and the Humane Society. A very positive and spiritual person, Liana currently resides with her husband, Manny Garcia and their beautiful dogs in South Tampa.
